Absolutely relentless and pounding Metal that shifts seamlessly back and forth between Black and Death, “What Completely Is Not” is probably one of the best demos I’ve heard in a good long while.

My favorite thing about an insanely brutal band is when they have the ability to abuse the hell out of their instruments and my ears, all without becoming stale or monotone. EXHAUSTED PRAYER change things up, not too often, but often enough, for you to stare in disbelief that they’re able to keep up this pace while still keeping the music fresh and exciting. To top things off, the vocals are just great. They range from a more high-pitched scream to an ultra brutal Death growl that just suits the music to a T.

Any one in search of a new band that will have no problems peeling the skin off their face are strongly urged to check out EXHAUSTED PRAYER. (Online September 7, 2004)
